When is CCG open
CCG is normally open Saturdays 10am-2pm after submitting a waiver via our website. During busy seasons such as the Spring and Summer, we are typically open Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-2pm. We do make exceptions to accomodate scheduled field trips. Please see info below for what is required prior to visiting
How can I visit?
There are many ways you can get invovled and visit the garden! You can sign up to volunteer, attend one of our events, book a field trip or retreat, or sign up for one of our classes.
Please note, prior to visiting the following must be completed
1. a waiver must be completed online via our website
2. you must notify us for example: rsvp for events, complete volunteer application, etc,
We are currently open Saturdays 10am-2pm (field trips can be scheduled outside of this time during the week). Sometimes we open Wednesdays 10am-2pm if it is a busy season, such as the summer.
Do you accept volunteers?
Yes, we currently have volunteer days Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-2pm. Please check our volunteer page for roles and updates. Once you complete a volunteer application and waiver, you will be added to our volunteer email list. Please be sure to confirm via email if you will be attending so we can know to expect you. Thank you in advance for volunteering with us!
What type of community events do you have?
We have various events throughout the year, with our main one being our Earth Day event. We will update our events page, so check in from time to time for news
Do you accept inkind (item) donations?
Yes, but it must be preapproved from our wishlish. If you have something that you believe would be a good donation, please reach out. We truly appreicate you for thiking of us, but we are unable to accept everything.
What programs do you offer?
Our two main programs are our food giveaways and field trips. Community members are welcomed to come and volunteer Saturdays 10am-2pm.
